Eric Fleutelot has extensive experience in community health, grant management and the delivery of international programmes. Until September 2014, he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Sidaction, where he was responsible for international affairs and programmes. He subsequently worked as Regional Adviser for Global Health in Southeast Asia, based at the French Embassy in Bangkok, overseeing France’s health investments and monitoring public health policies across ten countries in the region.
From April 2019 to August 2026, he headed Expertise France’s Major Pandemics Division, which notably manages L’Initiative, France’s complementary mechanism supporting the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, as well as the SUCCESS programme on the secondary prevention of cervical cancer.
Since September 2026, he has served as Expertise France’s Regional Coordinator for Asia and the Pacific, based in Bangkok. In this capacity, he supports the development and coordination of the agency’s activities across the region and is helping lay the groundwork for its future regional directorate.
